There's No Failure in God.........

It's becoming more apparent to me that people will treat you like you demand to be treated, not like you want to be treated.  You can want a million dollars but if you're not placing a demand on it by doing what it takes to get it, it's only a want!  That's the status it will keep unless you change your thoughts and actions about what you want. 

Daily God helps me to see me for me.  He reveals those things I still need to die to and those things that are my strengths that I must continue to develop and maximize.  As I go through this journey of "Purpose Development", I'm finding out that when I thought I was aggressive, I was really passive.  I've never really pushed my strengths to the max and placed a demand on my gifts, talents and expertise.  I've offered services but never sold my myself as the person who God has created me to be. But now, The SWITCH is on..........

If you spend too much time thinking about things that can be perceived as your failures, you'll never view them as "God's Successes".   Now, I'm seeing the formation of purpose through the lens of perceived failure, understanding that it was all a part of the script that is leading me into the final production stages of God's Divine Purpose for My Life.  I've never been more confident in "me" as I am right now.  Not because I'm all that, but because God has strategically positioned me as a "Dependent" woman.  Yeah, I know we babble and talk so much about being Independent and able to take care of ourselves, but many times our INDEPENDENCE keeps us from being DEPENDENT on God!  Right now, I have no other choice but to trust HIM.  I have no other choice but to listen to HIM.  I have no other choice but to obey HIM.  It's not just a song anymore, MY LIFE IS TRULY IN HIS HANDS. 

I want my readers to understand one thing, THERE IS NO FAILURE IN GOD! I don't care how tough, rough and disappointing things have been, THERE IS NO FAILURE IN GOD!  Yes, all of us have made bad decisions, stepped outside of God's will and moved on things just because they were good ideas.  My hands are up, I'm the first to admit that I've done just that, BUT nothing that I've done came as a surprise to God.  He said, when I'm weak, He's strong.  He said, if I repent and turn from my wicked ways then He'll hear from heaven, forgive my sin and heal my land.  He said, He came that I might have life and have it more abundantly.  He said, before I was formed in my mother's womb He knew me and His thoughts towards me were of good not evil, TO BRING ME TO MY EXPECTED END!   I just believe when He said, ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD FOR THOSE WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.  Do you believe? 

I've decided to Just Believe........... I do what I know to do until God shows me or tells me what to do.  Faith without works is dead so we must keep on believing and keep on working because soon you will wake up to a brand new day, a brand new life.  Soon you will wake up and find yourself smack-dab in the middle of your purpose, living your dreams and enjoying the life that you were created to live.  Don't let your faith fail you now, just Believe!

Everyday is a new day.  I expect God to move on my behalf everyday.  I expect change everyday.  I expect a SHIFT everyday.  You have promises from God and He's not a man that he should lie or a son of man that he should repent. IF HE SPOKE IT, HE'LL BRING IT TO PASS.  Can I get an AMEN..............AMEN!

I'VE PLACE A DEMAND ON THE ANOINTING THAT'S ON MY LIFE. NO MORE BUSINESS AS USUAL, IT'S TIME TO YIELD RESULTS FROM MY LABOR.  GOD HAS GIVEN US THE POWER TO GET WEALTH AND THAT POWER IS IN WHAT HE'S ANOINTED US TO DO! 

It's time to RE-UP!  Re-Discover who you are, Re-Focus your attention, Re-vise your plan, Re-position yourself and  Re-cover ALL!

Undetected Pain........

I had a very crazy weekend.  My son was playing in a football game on Saturday and ended up getting hurt.  It's raining, I'm across the field in the stands looking at my son on the bench trying to figure out if he's badly hurt or just needed to sit out for a minute.  I called his name a few times trying to get his attention.  There he sat, in the rain, crying and in pain without me knowing.  I thank God that my husband showed up and walked around the field to check on him.  Well, my husband picked him up and we took him home to nurse him back to health. 

It's Monday and because my son's knee is still swollen we took him in for x-rays.  He pointed out a couple of areas where he felt pain but there was one area that the x-ray couldn't pick-up.  The doctor said that inorder for her to see the tissue area that Mal was referring to, he would need to get an MRI. The X-ray will reveal any broken bones but the MRI would show any differences in soft tissue that may exist and cause pain even though no bones are broken.

I found that interesting because many times we are hurt on this life journey and people will assume you are ok because there are no obvious signs of broken bones, but they have no idea of the painful soft tissue damage that they've caused you.  It never dawned on them that they broke your spirit, broke your heart, caused you so much disappointment and despair.  They never took out time to think about the words they spoke, the disrespectful actions they took and the obvious signs of total disregard for your feelings. 

Relationships are so fragile.  It doesn't matter the type of relationship you're in, any relationship can cause pain.  When you trust someone, look to them for support, look to them for validation, look to them for help and they view you, your situation and your feelings as insignificant and unimportant, it scars that deep tissue and causes pain that's undectectable through an x-ray. 

This is why it's so important for you to trust God and God alone.  Don't look to man because many times, even if they can, they won't.  If it will take the spotlight off of them and place it on it you, forget it!  If it will open doors of opportunity for you, forget it!  Don't depend on people to give you only what God can give you.  Don't have misplaced expectations!!   God is able and He will, but men are able and usually they won't, if it doesn't benefit them.  That's Just Man!

Don't downplay your pain.  If it hurts it hurts.  Make the proper adjustments, recognize the changes that need to be made, press play and LIVE.  If you give people that type of control over your life then they will use it to the end.  I'm sorry but I've revoked all rights and priviledges to my life, my purpose, my destiny and my dreams. The bible says to receive sound counsel and I'm all for that, but for those who want access to my life with no intentions on pushing me to do what's best for me and my family, IT'S OVER - YOUR RIGHTS HAVE BEEN REVOKED!

Know who's for you and who's trying to play you.  Life is too short to procrastinate and too long to settle!  I refuse to be 60 saying, "I wish I would have"  IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

Sometimes healing takes a while, but always know it won't always hurt this bad!

I Really Don't Want To, BUT....

Have you ever had one of those days where you just don't feel like doing anything?  I have a million things to do today but I just don't feel like doing any of them.  From the urgent matters to the minor things, I know what needs to be done but I REALLY DON'T WANT TO!

It dawned on me that this happens so often as you endeavor to fulfill your dreams and really live life the way God intended for you to live it.  Sometimes you just get tired and don't feel like doing anything else.  I know, I've been there too.  You get tired of working towards something that feels like it gets further and further away, the harder you strive to reach it.  You get tired of listening to rhetoric and people telling you what you should and shouldn't do.  Everybody seems to have an opinion, an idea or a suggestion about your life.  You just want to run and hide, pull the covers over your head and scream! 

But, seriously, it's at this point we must recognize the plan of the enemy.  The devil is very crafty and cunning.  He's slick in his attempts to make you think that the way you feel is normal, human, a part of life and so on.  Yeah, all of that sounds cute but his ultimate goal is to still, kill and destroy.  He doesn't want you to feel like doing anything.  He wants you to get tired, weary and slothful.  He knows that if he keeps tugging at your thoughts, you will eventually become what you think.  If you think, "do nothing", you'll do nothing.  If you think, "I'm tired", you'll be tired.  If this last for too long, you'll lose your passion and desire for success, for purpose, for life.  So, today I REALLY DON'T WANT TO, BUT.........I'm getting my butt up and doing those things that I know to do.  I can't expect God to move on my behalf when I'm not willing to fight against my flesh and pursue purpose even when I don't feel like it.   There is no "time-off" when it comes to the will of God.  The important thing is: knowing when it's God's will and when it's your will......knowing when it's God's will and when it's the will of man.   There are two powerful people that can distract you, get you off track and cause you to miss God: YOU and MAN.  

There's such a burning desire in you to live your dream.  You think about it daily.  You dream about your dreams and think about your thoughts.  You know there's more, you know you heard God, but you really don't want to..........BUT, today I bind and rebuke the spirit of laziness, weariness, doubt, unbelief and distraction.  Let nothing come between you and your dream, you and God's will, you and your divine purpose.  There is one thing that you once you lose it you can never get it back, TIME.  You don't have time to waste time because you never know when God has divinely orchestrated a specific day or time, to release you into your purpose.  You could miss a divine connection because you just didn't feel like going to that meeting, training or event.  You could miss a divine opportunity because you didn't feel like answering your phone, text or email.  Every opportunity is an opportunity for God to move.  Don't Miss Your Moment!  Yeah, I know you really don't want to, but today you have to!

Build yourself up in your most Holy faith.  Keep positive words of affirmation and encouragement before you daily.  Keep the Word of God in your thoughts and on your lips.  Find your a Circle of Life or Master Mind Group.  Get connected with like-minded, like-spirited, passionate people.  Life was meant to live it so whether you feel like it or not, Just Do It!

Have a blessed, powerful and purpose-filled day in God!

It's a New Season!

Cool air and palm trees blowing in the wind, the clear sign of a change in seasons. The shift from a hot, scorching Summer, to a beautiful, breezy Fall, takes you from being irritable to peaceful.  It's amazing how God created the seasons to change at specific times, knowing when enough of one has come and it's time for change.

This is the last quarter of 2011.  This is the "beginning" of the "end" of the year.  It's the season to bring completion to some things, in order to start other things.  It's the season to evaluate where you are, where you're going and what changes need to be made, in order to get there.  As you begin to prepare for the new, it's so important to make sure you've dealt with the old.  The bible says, And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins—and the wine is destroyed, and so are the skins. But new wine is for fresh wineskins.” (Mark 2:22)  You can't shift into something new carrying "old" mindset, "old" habits, "old" relationships, "old" baggage, "old" frustrations, "old" hurts and "old" pain.  The "old" hinders your ability to maximize the "new".  When God is trying to breath something fresh inside of you, fresh dreams, fresh vision, fresh relationships, fresh sense of worth and value, you will suffocate and die, if you don't allow your passage of HOPE to be renewed and open to receive the "NEW".  It's a new Season, but are you ready for it?  Are you ready for CHANGE?

This is the last quarter of the 2011 game of life.  Whatever adjustments need to be made, make them now.  The time clock is ticking and your opponent, DEFEAT is working hard to waive his hand in victory.  DEFEAT is waiting for that final buzzard to go off and declare that he stopped your dreams, hindered your purpose and destroyed your hope.  Are you going to give him this win or are you going to rise-up and declare war?  You already know his strategies, he has no new plans, no new tactics, he runs the same plays year after year, month after month, week after week and day after day.  It's your opportunity to take the ball and run.  You have a special weapon that your opponent doesn't have.  You have a teammate who: knows all things, sees all things, created all things and owns all things.  All you have to do is follow His lead and He'll lead you to a VICTORY!  Will you dare to trust Him, Believe Him, follow Him?  God is giving you divine instructions, listen and obey.  This one belongs to you, TAKE IT!

Do yourself a favor this evening.  Take a stroll down the street, around the lake or at the park. Spend some time observing the change in the atmosphere and getting a fresh perspective on God's purpose for your life.  It's a New Season, It's a New Day, A Fresh Anointing is Coming Your Way!

Don't end the year like it started.  Life is about progress, moving forward and living everyday better than the last.  Truly, IT'S A NEW SEASON!

How Deep is Your Love?

I was up early again this morning praying and seeking the face of God.  I don't say that to appear to be some deep and wonderful person, but to let you know that I'm just like you, I need God to move in my life and family just like you do.  It would be so easy to get up and write stuff to impress you, but live like the devil and his mother-n-law because most of you don't know me personally.  I'm thankful and grateful to God that I have a real heart to serve Him and live a life that's pleasing to Him.  In the midst of my imperfections, I know He's doing a perfect work in me!

I've been praying for marriages lately because I understand the attack that has been launched against the sanctity of marriage and divine family order.  The enemy's ultimate goal is to destroy our Country but he starts with the family first.  He knows that if he can get the spiritual dynamics of the family twisted and distorted, he can eat away at the very fabric of what holds our Country together, THE FAMILY. 

Husbands and wives and those seeking to get married, we have to go back to the biblical foundational principles of marriage, in order for God's will to prevail in our families.  Most of us said these words when we got married: To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish 'till death do ...  As hard as these vows may be to keep at times, it's our covenant to each other as husband and wife.  The bible says:

Gen. 2:18, 21-24

The Lord God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him'...and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. 

Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, 'This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man.' For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

This was God's first recorded surgery.  He took one of man's ribs and made the woman. Remember, Adam was sleeping and when he awoke he said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh".  There was no physical attraction here because Adam was sleep and when he awoke,  Eve just appeared.  He knew there was spiritual attraction that had taken place and he quickly recognized why she was there.  She was there to HELP him.  She was there to bring healing to him, comfort to him and encouragement to him. She was there to be his HELPMATE/HELPER.  Husbands, it's time to recognize why God gave you a wife.  She's a part of you, she came out of you to help you! The bible says, she's the weaker vessel.  Not WEAK, but the weaker vessel.  This simply means that she wasn't created to bare heavy burdens, carry around the worries of life, try to figure out where to go, what to do or raise children by herself.  She was only created to HELP!  We have too many women being put in a position to lead the family when that's not her responsibility.  On the flip side, we have too many domineering women pushing their way into leadership, not giving their husbands an opportunity to lead because they want to be in control.  Ladies, you can't get mad at him for not leading and not give him the opportunity to lead and space to make mistakes.  The bible says,

Ephesians 5:22-33

New International Version (NIV)

²² Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. ²³ For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. ²⁴ Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Submission is not a curse word! Anything with two heads is a monster. It doesn't say wives let your husbands run over you and treat you like a dog.  Another scripture says,

Ephesians 5:22-33

New International Version (NIV)

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her ²⁶ to make her holy, cleansing^[a] her by the washing with water through the word, ²⁷ and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. ²⁸ In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. ²⁹ After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— ³⁰ for we are members of his body.

Husbands, if you love your wife as Christ loved the church, you'll do whatever it takes to provide, make her feel safe, peaceful and content.  Christ loved the church so much until He gave his life for it.  How deep is your love?  If we bring order back to our marriages, then we won't have wives trying to be the husband and husbands sitting back being jelly back and a push over, as if he was the weaker vessel.  If you want to see the manifestation of the blessings of God then you must be willing to invite Him into an order-filled house!  Our homes should be a place of PEACE and LOVE, not CHAOS and HATE!

My pastor taught my husband and I something years ago when we first got married.  There is a big difference between a PRINCIPLE and an INCIDENT.  Couples find themselves fussing and fighting over things that really don't matter. Neither party have the grace and the will to bring peace to the situation, everyone just wants to be right.  When this occurs it makes everything ALL WRONG!  Before you engage in or initiate an argument, ask yourself, is this a principle or an incident?  A principle infers that whatever happened, happens ALL of the time.  An incident infers that whatever happened, happened that one time.  Seriously, was that last argument worth it?  We create division and separation in our relationship just because someone isn't willing to be wrong or just ignore something. No one will do or say everything right all the time.  Sometimes we have to acquiesce, agree without protest, accept without question.  Is this easy?  No, but it's necessary! 

If you are engaged, make sure you're ready to die to yourself, in order for your marriage to live.  Guys, make sure you're ready to lead and ladies make sure you're ready to submit.  Know what the Word says about your roles and make a commitment to strive for an ordered-filled marriage.  When my husband and I got married, we went in with an understanding that DIVORCE WASN'T AN OPTION.  The problem with many is that they get married with an option. Thinking that you can "opt-out" your marriage and your commitment at anytime IS NOT GOD!  No, you won't wake-up every morning feeling like you're in love, but in your heart you know that you love your spouse.  Marriage isn't based on feelings, its based on commitment (Apostle Dannie Williams).


Today I want you to think about and list (5) things that YOU can do to make your relationship better and bring order to marriage.  Notice I didn't say (5) things you want your spouse to do.  It's time to look in the mirror and ask God to change "YOU", not your spouse, but "YOU".  If there are some real deep seated issues that need to be dealt with, deal with it.  If you need counseling, find a man or woman of God who can help you.  Whatever it takes, make it happen!  We spend time and money making sure our cars look good and run good.  We spend a lot of money on gym memberships and salons trying to make sure we look good, BUT how much time and money do you put in trying to make sure your relationship runs good?  Marriage seminars, books, retreats are a few things that we can invest in to increase the value of our marriage. 

I'm convinced that our families will experience the break-throughs that we are searching for once we get back to God's divine and ordained order.  My question to you is,
"HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE"?

Keep in mind that I know there are thousands of different marriage situations that may require other strategies to bring healing, hope and/or a peaceful resolution.   At the end of the day, we must seek God about specific marriage issues. He knows all things!

Limp Your Way to Your Blessing

I am so charged right now.  I woke up a little slothful and was dragging a little bit.  All of a sudden the Holy Spirit hit me real hard.  In essence, He reminded me that PROCESS leads to PROGRESS, but only when there's movement.  You may be in a process but progress is on the other side when you move towards it.  Some of you may be like me right now, stupidity just gets on my nerves.  People trying to create problems just to see your response, doing and saying things just to see if they'll get a roar out of you.  Well, I came to serve notice on the devil today, you can HUFF and you can PUFF but you will not stop my PROGRESS! 

If you remember, Jacob was preparing to go meet his brother Esau when he found himself alone with God.  At this point,  Jacob couldn't run or hide, he had to deal with what had dealt with him for years...HIMSELF.  The bible says that a man wrestled with Jacob. When he realized that he couldn't over power Jacob he touched his hip socket, dislocated his hip which caused Jacob to limp.  The man yelled for Jacob to let him go, but Jacob said, "I'm not going to let you go until you bless me".  The man then asked, "What is your name"?  When Jacob replied, the man said, "your name will no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and man and have won (overcome)".

Many of you have been wrestling with issues of life.  Many things have dislocated your hip: divorce, loss of loved-one, sickness & disease, lay-off, repossessions, foreclosures, rebellious kids, backstabbing friends, cheating spouse and many other issues of life.  I woke-up just to tell you to "LIMP YOUR WAY TO YOUR BLESSING".  I know it hurts, I know this process is tedious and overwhelming and it seems like it's about to take you out, but DON'T LET GO UNTIL GOD BLESSES YOU!  This isn't the enemy, it's God!  He needed to get you out of your comfort zone, get some people from around you and out of your ear, in order to change your life.  Jacob's name went from meaning "trickster" to " triumphant in battle".  God caused a victory before the confrontation!  A change took place in Jacob before he had to confront his brother Esau. See, God wasn't concerned about Jacob's condition, He focused on YOUR condition.  Jacob had to go through his process because from his descendants a child would be born and they would call him Immanuel, they would name him JESUS!  God already knew that you would be in a tight-place right now.  He already knew that some of you would be contemplating suicide, wanting to just pick-up and leave everything and everyone behind.  He already knew that you would need a Savior.  He knew that you would make some bad choices and need forgiveness.  He knew that you would one day come to this place, where you have no answers, nothing else left to give, nothing else left to try and nothing else left to say.  He gave you what you needed before you knew you needed it.........Jesus!

God is changing your name from Victim to Victor, DEBT to Debt-FREE, Sickness to HEALED, Borrower to LENDER! Don't stop fighting, don't stop praying, don't stop pushing, LIMP YOUR WAY TO YOUR BLESSING! Let them keep talking about you, lying on you, spreading gossip & rumors, scheming & plotting against you, trying to break you, trying to get you to respond.....Don't Let Go until God Blesses You Right in Their Faces!  He has already promised to prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. 

I don't know about you but I'm so charged right now I can run through troops and leap over walls.  I'm fully confident that where I am is not where I'll be tomorrow.  God can SHIFT your life overnight!  Stop trying to defend yourself.  Stop trying to make people love you or even life you.  Stop trying to prove something to people who really don't care anyway.  This is your set-up for your come-back and this time will be far greater than the first time!

Do You Remember the Times.......

The Holy Spirit woke me up early this morning.  I was up around 3:30 - 3:45am, but because I was being lazy, I tried to pray while I was laying down and let that be that, but God wasn't trying to hear it.  He wouldn't let me go back to sleep so I knew I needed to get up.  So, I got up, grabbed my prayer shawl and went into the living room to pray.  I felt impressed to read several chapters in the book of Deuteronomy.  As I began to read I got worried because I was feeling like God was rebuking me or telling me that was being disobedient and rebellious, but I kept on reading......

In Deuteronomy 11, God reminds Israel of how He's kept and led them through the dessert for the last forty years.  He reminded them of how he allowed them to go hungry and then fed them with manna (something no one had ever heard of).  He reminded them that over the last forty years, their clothing never wore out nor did their feet swell. He urged them to obey the commands and worship Him with fear and trembling.  He then proceeded to speak this word: The Lord your God is bringing you into a good land with streams that flow from springs in the valleys and hills.  He told them that wheat and barley fields are everywhere and so are vineyards and orchards full of fig, pomegranate, and olive trees, and there is plenty of honey.  A few scriptures later He says.......If you always obey my laws and teachings, you will have plenty to eat, and will build good houses to live in. You will get more and more cattle, sheep, silver, gold, and other possessions.

I went through all of that just to let you know that you are on the mind and heart of God.  God wants you to know that if He's provided for you in the past, He'll do it again.  He only wants you to trust and obey.  He reminded me this morning that I turned "40" in June of this year and it was Him who sustained and provided and led me out of Egypt over these last 40 years.  He comforted my heart and spirit by reminding me of Prophetic Word over my life and assuring me that IF I TRUST & OBEY, I WILL HAVE GOOD SUCCESS. 

In the midst of your dessert experience today, trust God.  My friend, you've been here before.  This isn't your first barren and dry season.  This isn't the first time you've struggled or had challenging times in your life.  This isn't the first financial hardship your family has experienced.  All you need to do is REMEMBER.....Remember the manna God sent from heaven before, remember the rock He split to give you water to drink before, remember the raven He sent to feed you before, remember the favor He graced you with before, remember the way He made out of no-way before, YOU'VE BEEN HERE BEFORE, TRUST HIM!  If you can REMEMBER, you will REMAIN ready and RECEIVE your RELEASE. 

Rest assure that as soon as you make up your mind to LIVE, make up your mind to BELIEVE, make up your mind to TRUST God, the enemy will come.  This is when you open your mouth and speak to ANY & EVERYTHING that's contrary to your faith.  Sometimes you have to speak to mountains in order for them to move. Yes, God can choose to move them without you saying a word, but God's faith in you isn't the issue, your faith in Him is what's on trial.  If you want to be found Innocent of all charges of doubt and unbelief, then He needs to see some REAL EVIDENCE.  He doesn't want to see this circumstantial stuff that many people offer him daily.  If their circumstances are good then they have faith.  Nah...that's not faith that's pimping God.  God isn't your Big Poppa that you call when all else fails.  He's your BIG Jehovah that sent His only begotten son, to die for your sins and give you an opportunity to Live the God-Best Life.  Today is the day to make a decision to Trust and Obey inspite of.

I pray that every person reading this post today will receive a special grace and anointing to lay down their burdens, evict their worries, cast out their doubt & unbelief and open their hearts and spirits, to receive the divine Peace of God.  I speak REST to your spirit and STRENGTH to your heart, to Trust & Obey the only wise God, our Father.
